We now distribute the "Edd:e". Edd:e is a wireless energy monitor that shows you at a glance your consumption and energy trends at the individual circuit-level. This allows users to identify detailed consumption patterns and trends on individual circuits: when is energy being used? Where is it being used? How is it being used? Customers are able to make detailed analysis about their energy consumption and wasteage. Web-based reports are generated allowing customers to access all areas of their energy consumption by time period, by location and by type of consumption (e.g. Lighting, heating etc).

Research into the use of Edd:e identifies up to a 27% saving on your electricity bills. Examples where Edd:e has proven extremely effective include the following.

Leisure Industry Example:

A town centre "style bar" realised energy savings of more than 20% by installing edd:e.

• The cellar offered 50% savings because edd:e was able to identify inefficiencies in the placement of key equipment and better thermal isolation of equipment;
• They were able to analyse the behaviour of the glass-fronted chilled drinks cabinets which led to an alteration in the way the chillers were run;
• The proprietors were able to create an energy-efficient outdoor patio area using LED lights and timer switches.

A commercial office

A rapidly expanding Contact Centre recognised the need to track their growing energy consumption. Energy savings thanks to the analysis Edd:e provided them included:

• Reduced computer consumption by between 50% - 80% by replacing end-of life desktops with laptops;
• Identified air conditioning running in an under-used area of the building. Turning this off saved an overall 5% of the total building's energy consumption;
• Kitchen / restroom lighting reduced by one third by installing a light sensor.

How does Edd:e work?

Edd:e is a wireless solution. Sensor strips "ECOCPS" are placed in the distribution board for every circuit you want monitored.

These sensors transmit data to the "ECOMFD" which collates the data and sends it to a hub server placed onsite at the business.

The hub forwards the data via internet to the edd:e server
