Real-time Energy Monitors

Keeping an eye on your electricity consumption.

Keeping an eye on your domestic or commercial electricity consumption is a key part of winning the battle to economise on energy.

We now distribute two different types of real-time energy monitor:

• the "Eco-Eye", a meter-level wireless energy monitor that shows you at a glance the amount and cost of the electricity you are consuming (as read at the meter)
• the "Eddie", a circuit-level wireless energy monitor that can track your consumption down to the individual circuit.

Either system can help you you learn which systems in your home or office use the most energy and allow you to either turn off or reduce their use - or even to find other more eco friendly appliances to use instead. The "Eco Eye" will show you the effect of switching on different systems by the overall "uplift" visible on your total energy consumption. The "Eddie" will show you the precsie impact on any (or all) given circuits in your home or business. The relative price and installation complexity of the two different devices differs, but both are equally valuable in particular situations depending on client consumption and savings opportunities.
